Is it God's Will to Heal Me? Healing was a part of the Old Covenant just as it is the New Covenant. Going to the doctor is not necessarily a lack of faith or a lack of releasing the faith you have, however, if you go to the doctor without seeking God—without acknowledging God, you will suffer at the hands of limited knowledge. Someone Has to Say it: Faith expressed is a force. It’s not a force on the inside of you but it is a force from inside of you. When you speak the Word of God in faith, not considering the natural state of things, expecting what you say to happen that is faith. The Reality of the Healing Word: Many of God's people are sick because they don’t renew their mind to the Word of God. They believe very loosely because God’s people are sick so I Peter 2:24 must not mean what many say it does otherwise God’s people wouldn’t be dying of sickness. They have turned the circumstances of others into their doctrine. Become What You've Been Made to Be: You have been made a new creature in Christ, so you need to live as a new creature in Christ. You've been made the healed of God so you need to live healed, and you’ve been made rich now it’s up to you to become rich but not in your ability but in the grace (ability) of God and His Word.
